I have taken various photos using different camera angles and shots which I will use in my magazine. I tried to include different aspects of school life in a casual or comedic manner to try and take away the formality and seriousness so that the magazine doesn't appear to be too boring.

Step-by-Step Front Cover Process
To start my front cover, I began with this photo:
This would be my main image/background to the front cover.
After this I added the title and the main cover line:

Obviously I chose to have the title at the top, and I chose to have the main cover line across the shoulders of the image as this was quite a central part of the page and would be quite eye-catching. Also I chose to make it the name of the person in the image and a snappy part to follow, in this case Shaun Bruce: Golfing Superstar, this seemed to be a common feature when I researched magazines.
Next, I added a smaller picture into the bottom left corner, also with some shapes behind it to give effect, and some more cover lines to go with it.
Lastly I added a date and issue number in the bottom right corner, small and close to insignificance.
